Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing Me

This is in response to a prompt over at Broke and Bookish, where the question is over the “Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing Me

My wishlist (should anyone be looking) is held over at bookcrossing – and can be found here.  The great thing of having a wishlist over at bookcrossing is that it’s not just for Christmas – it allows anyone with a copy of a book to check a wishlist at any time of the year and send a copy over to someone who has expressed a desire for a book.  I have received plenty of books thoughout the years from people I otherwise never have talked to, simply because of books held on these shelves.
Anyway, i have more books than most on my shelf so it’s difficult to choose a top 10, but here goes:

  • They Knew Mr White by Dorothy Whipple
  • Women of the Silk by Gail Tsukiyama
  • The Kitchen Daughter by Jael McHenry
  • The Secret by Julie Garwood
  • Stonehouse Cooks by Lorina Stephens
  • Daughters of the Witching Hill by Mary Sharratt
  • The Private Papers of Eastern Jewel by Maureen Lindley
  • The Fahrenheit Twins and Other Stories by Michael Faber
